Mike Tyson caricature

Another 'famous face' (or 'infamous face' in this case), from my pen and ink period back then.

I usually start a caricature with some 'try' sketches. I rarely get it right the first time.
  This time I was lucky, these were the only two sketches I found in my file folder.

Only when it looks really good do I start to finish it. In this case, the old-fashioned way, profile pen and Chinese ink.
      It is good to leave your sketch for a day first. Sometimes you think the resemblance is okay, but not the next day!

Because of Tyson's dark skin, I continued working on it with graytone adhesive film.
  But hey! Over the years, the adhesive foil had shrunk! Weird, ... I didn't know that was possible!
